Since graduating from Louisiana Tech University in 1999 with a Masters in Counseling and Guidance I have treated children and their families in numerous settings; from group homes, to shelter based, to transitional living, to community mental health and private practice.
For the past 13 years I have also focused on developing and implementing community programs for all ages for government and non-profit sectors.

Being recognized as a member of the Class of 2020, "Black History Makers" by the East Harris County Empowerment Council reaffirmed my mission of helping children acquire the skills they need to effectively understand and communicate their thoughts and feelings. Thus allowing them to improve and build relationships that will afford them life changing opportunities.
